For my sweet baby girl.
Nuggie Uggie Wuggies was a bear. Was a bear. Nuggie Uggie Wuggies had some hair. Had some hair.
Mamma said it was time for bed but little nuggies protested instead. Nuggies wanted to play games and things, but mamma said there was only time for sleepy things. Jammies and stories, those kind of things that make you feel cuddly and warm. Nuggies yawned and nuggies stretched but she wished it wasn’t bedtime yet. Mamma played the music low and gave her kisses so nuggies would know that bedtime was near and bedtime was here. Those were the words little nuggies ears didn’t wanna hear. So mamma’s voice became low as she turned down the lights. She leaned over her crib and kissed her goodnight. As nuggies eyes fell heavy and drifted asleep mamma turned off the lights and didn’t make a peep. Goodnight my nuggies her heart wispered inside. I’ll see you in the morning when it’s all bright outside.
