Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog and comment and like! I truly appreciate all the love I get on my work because every piece is dear to my heart.

My passion for art started when I was young. My mom used to and still does take me to the local art events that go on in town, and I love every minute of it. Hearing the artists perspective on their pieces is probably the best part for me. So I love finding other people’s pieces to comment on. 🙂 One of the many reasons I love art is because it has so many perceptions. You have the artist’s perception, the critique’s perception, and art’s perception of itself. Well at least I would like to think that the latter is true.

I started writing when I was little. It wasn’t until about high school that I really dove into my writing and creating characters. I loved that I could portray myself through different lights by writing. I usually incorporate some truths about myself in the pieces I write, but not always 100%. I like to take what I know and ask myself what if. For me, it’s almost like acting through my work. My writing became and still is a major outlet for me. It has saved me from many a bad and life threatening decisions.

As I begin to post more pieces you’ll notice there is really no trend in my posting order or topics for that matter. I am a very emotional writer and so some days I may have about 30 different pieces that I want to write and others just one or two. Since I am new to the world of blogging I may be tinkering with some new directions I have thinking about taking my writing so any and all artistic or non-artist comments are greatly welcomed.

Thank you again  for all of the support, and I truly hope that you enjoy reading each piece.
